Dhiraj Jhunjhunwala is a technical enthusiast, blogger and freelancer. Currently, he is pursuing his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from VIT University, Vellore. As a freelancer, he has taken up more than 8 web design/development projects apart from 100+ graphic and vector design assignments (some of them can be viewed at Works by Dhiraj Jhunjhunwala). He is also the Secretary(Design) at SMCE (Society of Mechanical and Civil Engineers) and the Web Head at VIT Animation Club (VAC), which are two of the most prestigious clubs of VIT University. He has been a part of the organising team of various fests and events of his college like Gravitas (Technical Fest), Riviera (Cultural Fest), Invictus (Business Fest), Startup Street and SELF(Social Entrepreneurship and Leadership Forum) to name a few. Contrary to the common notion that coding holds no relevance for Civil Engineers, he believes coding can be of enormous relevance in many specialised areas of Civil Engineering. He is also the author of a technical blog, titled "Civilians Code - Coding for Civil Engineers by Dhiraj Jhunjhunwala". Dhiraj has a number of successfully completed projects to his merit like the Behaviour of Piles under lateral loading in sandy soil, Modelling Drainage flow across a Precipitous Slope in the High Himalayas (under review for publication), and Building a prototype of a ropeway support using tensegrity, to name a few. Along with the theoretical expertise in his stream, he also holds industrial experience as an intern in two Multistoreyed Building Construction projects, one of them being the Dynamo Realcon's Ganga Greens luxury appartment project in Kolkata, West Bengal.
